Villgratental
The Villgratental valley runs from Hochpustertal near Heinfelsin in a north-westerly direction up to the villages of Außer- and Innervillgraten. Those visiting this high valley will find a unique cultural landscape characterised by farming: searching for this anywhere else in the Alps will be in vain. Villgratental is one of the most attractive Alpine valleys in Tyrol.
As well as extensive Alpine pastures and unique Alpine villages nestling sleepily on the treeless slopes, you will also find numerous year-round possibilities for hiking and ski touring. The entire valley is enclosed by the Villgraten Mountains, a mountain range with summits of almost 3,000m.
Picturesque Alpine lakes, mystical peaks and mountains affording views of the Dolomites in South Tyrol and Hohe Tauern create an unparalleled setting that will gladden the heart of any visitor.
Let yourself be captivated by this unspoilt charm and enjoy a carefree holiday.
